Thanks for your reply … I think it’s all okay now. I went to the Wordpress.org forums and found some pointers and deleted some stuff (which I don’t remember what it was) and it now only shows one Home page. Now I just need to fix the order of the pages and populate it.

I am sure you will see me here again … since I am really sold on your theme.

To limit the number of posts, you need to edit the Wordpress Reading settings.

To show only a certain amount of a particular post, you can use the More tag (also Alt+Shift+T) in the visual editor.

Did you create a second home page? I only see one on your blog.

Hiya,

Is there any way to limit the number of posts that appear on the front page. Will it paginate after a certain amount? Also, if you have a very long post, can you just have a certain amount of it appear?

Hello,
I just started using your theme a few days ago and I like it very much for all the reasons stated above.

One problem I am having is that I have 2 Home Pages and I can’t get it to work with just one… Any thoughts on how to fix this. They both point to the same place but I just don’t like seeing the ‘Home’ twice…

The spacing would be CSS related, but as that isn’t my search bar I wouldn’t know what settings to change. You may need to check with the person who wrote the widget.

My suggestion would be to completely remove the button. I just tested your site using the enter key only – the button is redundant.

The spacing on the search bar is kind of funny. Basically the search button rests directly on the input field. I would like to create some space in between the two, but have been going batty trying to make it work. Any suggestions?

It won’t move over by itself. I’ll email you a copy of my footer in a few minutes and all you’ll need to do is replace the file in the theme folder.

I was able to remove Recent Posts from the footer (by deleting that section of code) and for Tag Cloud I changed alignment from Center to Left. Unfortunately, Meta moved to the center even though I didn’t touch the code that called for it to be Right.

When the Tag Cloud populates, will Meta move over (like yours) or is there something else I need to do?
